What is a student profile actually worth?

Less than students hope, and for different reasons. Six things set a rate: industry, seniority, account age and history, region, profile completeness, and how long you commit. Connection count sits well below all of them.

Seniority is where a student is naturally weak, so what you can influence is network quality. A final-year computer science profile connected to alumni now working at software companies carries a usable signal; the same profile padded with random connections carries less. How it works

  1. Apply, free. Industry, network size, commitment length. No documents, no fee, ever.
  2. Human review and a quoted fee. A specialist reads your profile against client demand and sends one monthly figure in USD, normally within three business days.
  3. You approve each campaign. Target list and templates come to you first, and you set a blocklist — your college, your internship employer, anyone you would rather avoid.
  4. Monthly payment. Same date each month, by PayPal, Wise, bank transfer or stablecoin. The first is 30 days after your campaign goes live.

What to check before you apply

Read our Terms, especially sections 4 and 5, which set out what the risks are in plain language. LinkedIn's User Agreement says you must not let another person use your account; this arrangement is inconsistent with that, and LinkedIn may restrict, suspend or close an account it believes is shared. That risk stays with you.

Do I need work experience to qualify?

Not in the sense of a full-time job. A client is buying reach into an industry, so an internship, a research group or a strong alumni network can count. A profile with a photo, a headline, one internship and a few hundred genuine connections is a starting point. One created last week is not.

Does my follower count decide what I am paid?

No. Connection count matters considerably less than most people expect. Who your connections are, which industry they sit in and how old the account is all carry more weight. A large network built by accepting everyone is worth less than a few hundred classmates and alumni in one field.

What if I have campus placements this year?

Then this is probably not for you right now. Our Terms recommend against proceeding if you are job-hunting now or expect to be within the next year, because a restriction would land at the worst possible time. Finish placements first.

Can I stop during exams?

You can request an immediate pause at any time, for any reason, including exams. The initial term is three months from campaign launch, and after that either side can end the arrangement on 30 days' written notice with no penalty.

What do I tell my parents about this?

Tell them the accurate version.
